Smoke Barbecue & Grill

What would the 4th of July be without barbecue, preferably barbecue that's been prepared by someone else?

Last night I went to Smoke, a hot new barbecue joint at 901 W. Platt, brought to you by Gordon Davis, owner of Ceviche on S. Howard.

Barbequed shrimp with polenta, shrimp kabobs, grilled salmon and barbeque chicken, topped off with ice-cold beer, or in my wife's case, a big mug of sweet Sangria.
